Emilio Puga
Project Scientist
Emilio is a dedicated environmental data analyst with a strong focus on fieldwork and data collection. His primary responsibilities include assisting the team with data collection and visiting various sites to capture photos and record critical information. He conducts literature reviews, researching and summarizing relevant studies and regulations to support the team’s efforts. Additionally, Emilio assists with data entry and management, ensuring that environmental data is organized and accessible.
Emilio also lends his support to colleagues by creating reviewing documents for accuracy, and summarizing agreements, articles, and graphs. He participates in site assessments, where he observes conditions and collects samples, further enhancing his practical experience in the field.
Emilio holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he also earned his Scientific/Master Scuba Diver certifications. His educational background and hands-on experience equip him with a unique perspective in the field of environmental science.
